“My car broke down on the side of the road early on a Saturday morning and I was able to get a tow to Matt’s and leave my key in the dropbox. I was surprised to get a call almost as soon as they opened on Monday morning, and even more surprised to hear I didn’t have to drive down there to meet with the technicians in person. Everything was handled online, and the guest service was excellent. Will was very kind and patient with me (I know next to nothing about cars) and answered all of my questions, and it was so easy to look at all the repairs my car needed online in real time as they updated the information in the system. I was also able to select repairs I wanted done and the ones I didn’t. They were also very fast, and had my car done before the end of the day! I recently visited Matt's Automotive with a tire issue and was blown away by the exceptional service provided by Casey and the team! Not only did Casey go above and beyond to repair my tire, but he also took the time to provide me with extensive information about my vehicle, including tips and recommendations for future maintenance. He even introduced me to the technicians who worked on my car, which made me feel confident and informed throughout the entire process. I am extremely pleased with the service I received and will happily take my business here in the future. Went in for an oil change, and took 2 hours. Had an inspection done as well, which explains why it took so long. But talked to a few shops, and agreed this was not how long it should take, regardless of the inspection. Lack of communication on their part. If I knew it was going to take that long, I would of made an earlier appointment. Also forgot to put the sticker for the oil change, offered to put it on, when I called back. But since it took so long, I was late for work.

Came into Matt's Automotive for an inspection on my car. I was hearing noises and had no clue what was wrong. I spoke on the phone with Geoff and I received excellent customer service and they let me come in right away! They were completely honest and respectful, and gave me a low price for the issue. I was able to wait in the beautiful lounge, with free coffee and other beverages, and TV. Thanks again for all the help!

What a great experience!! As a former auto repair shop owner who might be a bit judgy :-), I was so impressed with my service. While I was just in for an oil change, I was fortunate to visit on a day when the service advisor's son was visiting and even helping out. His dad, Casey, guided him to consult with me on the condition of my air and cabin filters and I agreed that they needed to be replaced (I value keeping cars well maintained to achieve a long life).The Foreman, Dan, was awesome and actually took me back to the shop so he could demonstrate something on my car. (ummm, I may have not known how to operate something on my car and obviously, I was too lazy to look at the manual).I really appreciate an honest and transparent shop. I felt right at home. While the atmosphere was homey, the inspection and communication process was highly professional. Thanks, I'll be back!!

I used to go to Carmax off Penn but they were absolutely terrible. Googled a new place and found Matt's. Been there 2 times now and been extremely happy with how quick they are and how honest they are. Felt like they were forward and didn't try and rob me of additional work needed. Shout out to Casey! He was wonderful to work with! This will be my go to place!

These guys are the best! I came in for some troubleshooting with an odd start problem with my truck. I am always nervous taking my Vehicle is as I have been overcharged at other shops. This was not the case with Matt’s Automotive, they were extremely helpful and made sure I was helped fairly. The staff was friendly and kept me updated as needed. These guys are know their stuff and I will be using them for all my automotive needs in the future.

Kacey was super personable and the place was immaculate. Service was done quick and when looking up the cost of average repairs for what was needed it was not overpriced at all.Daniel the mechanic (i think that was his name) brought me back and showed me everything i needed to see to be happy post work done.Overall great experience and will probably make them my family mechanic as i live close.Bonus points for free Apple Juice.

Highly recommend Matt's automotive! I had a flat tire and needed 4 new tires- they were very reasonable and had wonderful customer service-- even changed my key fab battery for free and ran some diagnostics for me. This place is great!

Got me in right away and took good care of our truck. Called them on a Friday asking about a transmission fluid change and they told me to bring it right in and they had it done same day for us. I will definitely be recommending Matt’s Automotive to anyone needing service on their vehicle.

Matt's serviced my car & my dad's truck. We were super pleased with the quality and speed of the work, as well as the attention to detail and courteous & positive attitude of the Matt's team (even when I showed up to pick up at 5:00 on the dot - sorry!)The inspection was very thorough and they were up-front and honest about the cost of the work, availability of parts, and what was necessary vs. could be future maintenance. It was awesome to get my car back and be able to FEEL the difference in how it drives for the money I spent! Lol. We felt the value was great for the work they did and are happy to support and recommend a local spot 🙂

I've had service done at Matt's a couple times now - oil changed and other basic maintenance. I'm very happy with their service and the price compared to other shops. I really like the text updates and notification letting me know the work was done. Very professional. Matt's is the RIGHT place to go in Bloomington for honest reliable automotive service! Almost 200k miles and they've kept it running like a Rolex!

I'm very happy with Matt's on Lyndale Avenue in Bloomington . The service manager is very professional with the way he handles his customer . Extremely knowledgeable when it comes to Automotive repairs . The whole team at Matt's was very friendly and very respectable to me . Job was completed as estimated . I couldn't get through on the phone so I went online and from there on out the service was flawless. The online system was very easy and convenient to follow. Started from leaving my info, to making an appointment, approving diagnostic services online, and then picking up my vehicle. I was also able to get through easily via Email with a question I had. I had such a great experience here.The space itself was updated& clean.The staff was very kind.I really appreciated the paperless system, where I could see every step of work on my car. The place was exceptionally clean, smelled great, and they even offered water, coffee, and a fantastic phone charging station :p.Will was the person assisting me, and he truly went the extra mile to address my concerns. He made it clear that building trust and fostering long-term relationships with clients was his priority, and he certainly succeeded. Got me in and out in the time promised. Used a coupon work was done great price. Got a follow up the next day asking if I was experiencing any issues. Definitely I will return if I need something done again..

Matt's did a great job letting us know what was making a sound on one of our rear wheels. They did not try and do work that was not necessary but gave us info and let us decide what we wanted to do with our vehicle. I would be comfortable sending friends or family to Matt's.

Awesome place. I called an hour and a half before close and William got me in and didn’t even charge me for a scan. He was super friendly and professional. Definitely recommend for any vehicle inspections or services.

I was able to text the Team at Matt's and get info early on with a quote. They provide excellent service and a shuttle ride to my home. They were able to squeeze me in on a Friday afternoon, so major props for that!
