I honestly haven’t experienced such prompt and respectful service at an automotive shop in years! After using dealerships for the past several years (and finally getting fed up with them) it was refreshing not to be “sold” anything other than what I made an appointment for that day. I went in for a routine oil change and the service was completed effectively and efficiently; I was in and out in 40 minutes at most. I didn’t have to wait around in a showroom or feel pressured by associates. While waiting, I hung out in the lounge area which was extremely clean, inviting, and comfortable. The staff treated me with respect and was welcoming the second I stepped in the door. Honestly, absolutely necessary, I will not go anywhere else to service my vehicle! Also, the online appointment booking was simple and verification of the appointment was done promptly. Thanks Matt’s Automotive Team, you all are the best!

First impression on entering the shop was pleasant surprise at the setting. Very clean and didn't have the typical grungy feel of many auto shops. The technicians I spoke with were all outstandingly helpful, knowledgeable, and quite pleasant to top it off. I went in to get a new set of all season tires and the employee walked me through different options and gave the impression he wasn't simply trying to make a sale but actually cared.

This is the first time to Matt's. My car was overdue for an oil change, I called and got in the next day. The guys are very friendly and explained their inspection during the oil change. I didn't have to wait and was in and out quickly. Thank you! P.S. Your new plant looks very nice! :)

Great service! Communication is the best of any service center ever, the staff all speak knowledgeably and are happy to educate you, without being pushy about extra or other services. Will continue to use Matt's and recommend them to everyone!

I enjoy this place more than any other repair shop I've been to. They do not talk down to me like most other places but still explain things so I understand them (not a car savvy person). I also appreciate how they show all the recommendations and can let me know what is more important to get done sooner rather than pushing to do everything at once. Also, they have gotten me in quickly the couple times I've been there.

My wife and I have been going to Matt's Automotive service center for about 2 years. We trust them very much with how they handle our vehicles and with the reviews of our vehicles as well. They are always thorough and keep us informed of what needs to be addressed. We have been assisted at the desk by Vern whom is always friendly and informative. They have always done their best to make sure we either had a vehicle to loan for the day or a ride anywhere need when we dropped off our vehicle. We do all of vehicle work here. We will continue to be a loyal customer for many years to come.

Matt’s is not my usual repair shop. We were helping our friends with their vehicle as they had to be out of town for a family emergency. The guys at the shop were so helpful and respectful of the situation. If anything ever happens at our usual repair shop, my family will switch all of our business to Matt’s. They even had a vehicle that I could use while the vehicle was being worked on.

It is not easy to find honest mechanics with great skills and personalities to match... when you do... stick with them and tell your friends so they can rest assured that they are being taken care of and treated fairly! I came to Matt's with many things wrong with my car. I informed them I wanted to know everything that was wrong with my car but I only had enough to fix certain things. They were amazing about working with me and my budget. They took the time to explain everything and keep me updated throughout the process. I would recommend them to anyone! Their prices are not crazy high and they can work you in if your in a pinch!

I had my vehicle towed in on a Sunday, when I called in on Monday morning they got it in same day and had a fix for me that same day. They presented all options super clearly and let me know the prices up front. Once a fix was decided, the work got done with good quality. The only problem I had was that the project did get delayed twice by a day, so not a huge deal.

Went to Matt's Automotive for an oil change. Great service and experience! Had my 4-year old nephew with (he had insisted on dressing as spiderman). When my car was done we even found a Matt's Auto beanie bear holding a pic of spiderman sitting his car seat. Made our day! Thank you!

My experience with Matt’s was one of the best, if not the best, vehicle repair experiences I have ever had in my lifetime of owning a vehicle. Their customer service was outstanding, the costs were appealing, and the technology platform they use to update customers on their vehicle inspection, estimates, repair feedback, and additional notes was like something I have never experienced! You have to check out Matt’s next time you need auto repair and care.

Everyone at Matt’s Automotive were wonderful to work with. I had a flawless experience and they went above and beyond finding a way to warranty parts that Corwin wouldn’t help me with. They went out of their way to get me a vehicle to drive while mine was getting worked on. Vern was especially outstanding!! I would highly recommend bringing your vehicle here for all your needs!

I was having trouble with my Ford pickup not shifting properly and needed help, especially since I was over an hour from my home. I brought my truck to Matt’s, without having any knowledge of their business. I walked in the front door and was immediately impressed with the cleanliness and professional look of the front desk and lobby. I met with Jason and he was very honest and upfront with me. My truck was thoroughly inspected, over and beyond anything I had expected. Not only was my transmission issue diagnosed, but they gave me a detailed list of every other mechanical issue that needed repair. I was initially quoted a price for the transmission diagnostic, and at the end, that is all they charged me, even after spending a good amount of time looking over my entire truck! The communication from Matt’s was very appreciated. Jess was on the phone with me many times keeping me updated and did a great job explaining the final diagnosis. I have a daughter that just finished college in Fargo, and will be residing there working at her new job. Thankfully she lives nearby Matt’s Automotive. It gives a father piece of mind that I can comfortably send her to a honest business that takes pride in everything they do. Hard to find that quality in today’s world. Don’t expect to walk in and have your vehicle fixed immediately. I say that on a positive note! Good things are worth waiting for. Working in law enforcement, I learned to watch, listen and trust my ever growing gut! As I stood in the lobby and watched the number of customers herding into Matt’s, I realized they have obviously worked very hard to draw that kind of flow. Even though they deal with a large amount of customers, they can handle it...and make a point to do it without stressing. Overall, I cannot say enough about Matt’s. I appreciate privately run businesses that are successful in our corporate, box store world. Matt’s is a very fine example of this. Matt’s Automotive Service was amazing to work with. I drive a Range Rover so it is hard to find good spots to work on my car in Fargo. They were upfront with all the costs. Worked with me to drop me off @ my apartment. Would highly recommend them to anyone needing auto service!

Their prices seem a little higher than average but they make up for it in service. Had my rear brakes replaced in May. Matt's will warranty work for 3yr/36kmiles. Well at the start of this winter I started to have issues with my new brakes squeaking when cold. I took my car in in mid November and they ended up replacing the rotors and pads that were squeaking and I didn't have to fight them to make it happen: the replaced them with a smile! If you're scared of mechanics I definitely recommend Matt's.

I get regular oil changes and check ups keeping my car in good shape. New brakes this summer developed a squeak and they worked to make it right. Ask questions and they will explain.

The customer service here is some of the best I've had in the area. I went in to have my astro start looked at. It turned out just to be a quick fix and they didn't charge me. I am super appreciative of the team at Matt's. I would reccommend this business to anyone in the area.

I very highly recommend Vern Newman and his crewmen, all of them, but especially DAVE. Poor Dave was tasked to work on my 1993 Buick Roadmaster Hearse which had been sitting in a field for a while...Mice had taken over the air filter to use as nesting material and Dave duct-taped his jeans legs shut so the live ones wouldn't..well, you get the drift. I bought this car sight-unseen. I asked Vern to replace all the tires, hoses, everything rubber-y and hose-y, etc...And to make it safe enough for me to fly up to Fargo from Fort Worth, Texas and drive it home! And anything else he could find that needed fixing. He sent me pictures over text message to show me stuff that needed work and why. These guys are absolutely trustworthy. They didn't fix it if it wasn't broke, and they did fix what was broke! They went over my car for 3 weeks and made sure it was great! All this for a probably-not-returning customer. Hey, Vern...we sure could use you and your guys down here in Texas!!

I first took my car to another place (was quoted one thing and told another). I called Matt's in a panic and released my car to them from the other shop. Matt's kept me updated on everything by texts and calls! They made sure to call me before they did anything extra. Ended up having to have the other front wheel bearing changed and had to leave my car there. I got a loaner car for the time they had mine. When Matt's told me that there was a light on that was not there, Vern told me that he was not sending me out of the shop with that light on if I did not come in with it on. Found out that a tab got bent a little bit when the part got sent on. I did not have to pay any extra on it since he said it was an error on their part. I HIGHLY recommend Matt's!!! They are now my go-to place for all my repairs. Thank you so much.

My car was backed in to. I went to Matt’s through a referral of a friend. I was able to bring my car immediately in after speaking to Travis on the phone. Travis was awesome! He was super friendly and explained everything step-by-step to me. He was more than helpful! Also told me if I had any questions on how insurance is handling this or anything to call him and he will try to help which was above and beyond his job. Although I’ve never had to fix my car due to collision, I have been to different shops- and this one has had the best service I’ve delt with!

I am VERY pleased with service received at Matt’s Automotive!!! Extreme timely responses. Left initial email at 7:40 am and received phone call from VERN at 8:01! Appreciate straight forward, kind and understanding service. Had car serviced a month to date at another service center. They were BUSY yes. But Matt’s came back with info that could have/should have been made known to me month earlier. Not only did they explain car problems but emailed with pictures, all that was fine, all that was cautionary and what was absolutely the problem. Even MATT himself responded to emails. Unfortunately, car issues arose just days after the passing of my mother in law. I HAVE NEVER had a service center owner and manager express sympathy nor compassion to such a degree. VERN is a gem. What service center manager would offer a hug of COMPASSION. None dare I say!!!! And Matt!!! The community is blessed to have him out there building a business on HONESTY, INTEGRITY and PRINCIPLES!! My family and I thank you for your kind words and more than fair treatment regardless of our personal grieving!!! Honest, competitively priced, expedient. Also friendly which was unexpected but not unappreciated. Vern at the front desk is friendly, professional, and has a unique ability to thoroughly explain everything in layman's terms. As I waited for my oil to be changed, I watched him handle several customers with the utmost diligence. Whoever is in charge of keeping the lobby clean is doing an excellent job because that place is spotless despite the slushy spring weather. Service was quick and very reasonably priced. I also used a $10 off coupon from the back of my Cash Wise receipt which was awesome. I will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

I've been going to Matt's Garage for a little more than 2 years. Their warranty is awesome, the roadside assistance has saved the day, and I love how fast their services are along with the courtesy rides. The best part tho is that I'm never talked down to or 'mansplained' to. I'm treated with extremely professional courtesy and given all the information and time I need. Matt's Garage uses great visual tools, and also I love that they will text me updates. Recently Vern at the Fargo location spent 20 minutes on the phone, talking through my options because I'm in a position of... get a new car or fix my old one. Matt's Garage helped me make a decision I feel very good about. They have a customer for life in me!

I called Matt's this morning at 9am. I told Vern at the Fargo store my concerns we were having with our vehicle & that Gateway had our vehicle for 6 days with said concern. I released my vehicle from the hands of Gateway due to lack of communication, along with other conflicts. Vern at Matt's Automotive Service Center was extremely helpful. Matt's had our vehicle for 6 hours & boom, vehicle fixed. 6 days compared to 6 hours! I cannot thank Matt's team enough. They are prompt, professional, poise & have exceptional customer service. This was the first shop I've been in where they actually do progress updates, online reviews, and Actually do the follow up and the end of the day...Chris and the mechanic were super friendly and didn't over charge me for anything (rates are low). My vehicle needed a complete tune up and handful of other things replaced too. They had it done in 1 day.. I couldn't believe it!! The results are amazing. Drives like I just bought it from the dealership... Excellent Job!!! I just moved here last month and you guys have my business for life.

Amazing service. Staff is outstanding and the facility is amazing. They provide you with an estimate before hand so you know exactly what you're paying for. We came to Matt's because our other mechanic closed. Matt's has treated us with respect and professionalism. We have never gotten the feeling they were trying to sell us on work we really didn't need done. From a major transmission fix to simple oil changes they have done great work and we will be repeat customers.

I brought my car in for a little TLC since it had gotten over 100,000 miles on it. After a quick inspection Matt's Automotive called me with a few minor fixes that should be done. They described each problem they found, what needs to be done to fix it, and gave me a quote for each thing. Understanding that these things can be expensive, they gave me a variety of options depending on the severity of the problem. Unfortunately a week after my repairs one of the parts malfunctioned causing me to bring my vehicle back. Matt's Automotive took great care of my car, replaced the part that was defective, and gave me a car to drive in the mean time at no cost to me! Great guys and great service!

Had a brake issue and brought my car in to Matt's. That were very friendly and did a diagnostic (which they capped so that I wouldn't wind up with some crazy unexpected charge). They found the issue and gave me a quote as well as went over some of the potential issues that could come up during the repair. The original work came in under the quoted amount. They discovered another issue and let me know about it before doing any work and gave me an estimate and let me decide first whether I wanted the additional work. That repair also came in under the estimate. They were fast in getting my repairs done, very knowledgeable, and very friendly. Highly recommend them. I dealt with Chris and he was great to work with.

I bring my car to Matt's because the employees have always given me detailed information about problems and options. They explain procedures, answer my questions, and provide better-than-usual warranties of their work. In addition, they reward customers with things like roadside assistance and now, a cash back gift card on repairs. As a customer, I am both respected and appreciated. I've been a customer of Matt's for a few years and recommend them frequently to friends and people at work.
